Lockdown meant an upheaval in my workspace from studio to home. Initially, I made monoprints centred around touch, a concept that took on more meaning during Lockdown when my only direct human contact was with my partner. As it became apparent Lockdown was not temporary, I moved my concerns from touch between couples to touch between people in crowds. Painting has no sound, but I hope you can hear the chatter of the pub. Images of crowds seem so charged at the moment when we can no longer gather in groups.
